TOIT - top of my list anyday!!

If Beer, Wood fired Pizzas, Fish and Chips and a huge portion of dark, sticky & gooey chocolate and raspberry cake sounds like a heavenly meal - there is no other place other than TOIT !!

TOIT is a microbrewery on 100Ft Indiranagar Road right after the CMH road junction towards the old madras road. It has a nice beautiful ambience with a quirky yet sophisticated decor. But what I really love about this place is the food and secondly the different types of in-house brewed beer.

There are so many flavors to choose from - but my favorite is Tintin Toit. The other major favorites among the group are the wheat beer -Weiss. They also have a very light one made from basmati rice. The Stout is the dark ale one for those who like their beer a shade greyer.

They have a good selection of cocktails and mocktails also on the menu. Now coming to food, they have a very interesting menu with British, Italian and American favorites. What I simply adore are the wood-fired pizzas. They are thin, crisp, creamy cheesy and loaded with toppings. The distinct smoky smell is what gives it another dimension. Once you have had one of these, you will never go back to those run-of-the-mill, produced-for-masses Dominoes/PizzaHut kind of pizzas. Here is an illustration!

What we also love at this place are some of the other dishes.

Mushroom and capsicum in a nice tangy sauce served with spicy and sweet mayonnaise.

The famous English Fish and Chips - crumbly flaky fish fillets and some light crispy french fries.

Veg Lasagna with garlic bread

The last visit was with Nikita and Pavan and  family on a Sunday afternoon. The kid had a great time sampling all the different types of food and apart from his plate of carrots. The waiter there helped him with a few cushions so that he would be at the same level as us at the table and not miss out on any of the action! :-)

Finally the visit is incomplete without the TOIT special dessert. Its a huge slice of chocolate cake with vanilla and raspberry cream with chocolate sticks. One will probably be heavy for two folks even. Last visit we shared one among the 4+1 of us.

And for all the above, the bill was 2700/- with taxes. So, although not cheap, but its absolute value for the money. I cannot recommend it enough. But be sure to book a table atleast couple of days in advance.
