Dalma - An all ODIA affair!

If you really want to to have odia food - with loads of potatoes in every dish and almost in every bite, right here in Bangalore, there is no better place than "DALMA".
Keep heading on Inner ring road past the SONY signal and at the next junction, you will find this place on your right.

DALMA - actually stands for a  lentil stew made with arhar/toor dal with lots of vegetables and lightly tempered with ginger, jeera, mustard, dry red chillies and bay leaves.

This is a chain which started in my hometown bhubaneswar and now has outlets in a few other cities.

I went there with Pavan and he unurprisingly had the Veg thali and  I had the "Mati Handi Mutton curry" Thali. We really liked the food.

To top it off we also had malpua and rabri and one piece of  "chenna-gaja". Apart from the rabri, the other two were nowhere close to what I am used to while in Bhubaneswar.

All of the above for ~400rs is not bad at all ..

Definitely worth a re-visit!
